General Summary

Under direct supervision, provides office and reception support in a computer-based environment. Assists the public with tact and diplomacy, and works with Microsoft Office and department-specific software to search records, enter data, and verify information for accuracy. Prepares standard documents and uses sound judgment to resolve routine issues. Utilizes current Countywide and department systems to complete assignments.

What You’ll Do

  • Greet and assist the public at the front desk and by phone

  • Search, retrieve, and update records in multiple computer systems

  • Enter, review, and correct data to ensure complete accuracy

  • Prepare memos, labels, envelopes, and other standard documents

  • Support daily office operations by following established procedures and exercising good judgment

Required Minimum Qualifications

  1. Be a high school graduate or have a certificate of successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) Test.
  2. Have had at least six (6) months of full-time clerical work experience.
