NOTE: This position is part-time, non-eligible and will be limited to 1,000 hours/year. Assigned work projects will utilize county-standard software including Microsoft Power Suite (Automate, Apps), SharePoint Lists and SQL.

As a Parks Data Analyst, you will help drive strategic decisions across Oakland County Parks and Recreation by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from multiple sources. From point-of-sale trends to social media analytics, financial reports, GIS data, and community surveys, your work will directly support park operations, programming, marketing, and long-term planning. This role is perfect for someone who loves numbers, storytelling through data, and creating meaningful impact in the community.

At the time of application, applicants must:
1. a. Possess a Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, data science, computer science, mathematics, parks and recreation or related field of study.
b. Have at least three (3) years of experience in data analysis projects; OR
2. a. Possess an Associate’s degree or equivalent amount of education from an accredited college or university with course work in statistics, database management, data analytics, or website management; AND
b. Have at least five (5) years of experience in related data analysis projects
