General Summary

Do you enjoy working with numbers, solving problems, and ensuring accuracy in financial records? As a Financial Services Technician II with the Friend of the Court, you will support families and the Court by handling financial transactions related to child support and court-ordered accounts. In this detail-focused role, you will maintain financial records, process payments, and reviewing receipts for accuracy. Your work helps ensure compliance, accuracy, and financial integrity in support of families and the judicial process.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Process, verify, and reconcile payment receipts to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Collect payments and record all transactions accurately in court systems.
  • Work with court-related financial information and reimbursement processes while utilizing County financial systems and software.

Required Minimum Qualifications

At the time of application, applicants must:

  1. Must be a high school graduate or have a certificate of successful completion of the General Educational Development Test.

  2. Have had three (3) year of full-time bookkeeping and related clerical work experience which involved basic accounting or bookkeeping principles, utility billing which included customer service, or a closely related area.

    NOTE
    : One (1) year of coursework at an accredited college or university in a business curriculum which included accounting classes, may substitute for the one (1) year of experience listed above.

Special Requirements

When employed in the Health Division, Children's Village, and/or Medical Examiner's Office, must submit to immunizations as required, as well as to tuberculin skin tests or chest x-rays at County expense.

Pay Range

USD $47,787.00 - USD $64,025.00 /Yr.
