General Summary

Do you enjoy solving technical challenges and helping others feel confident using technology? As a User Support Specialist I at Children’s Village, you will support staff by ensuring key software systems run smoothly for a campus dedicated to serving youth. You will act as a bridge between the department and Information Technology, troubleshoot system issues, assist with software improvements, and train staff on technology tools that support operations and care delivery. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and using technology to make a meaningful impact.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Support department staff by troubleshooting software issues and coordinating with IT and vendors to resolve problems.
  • Assist in the implementation, testing, and maintenance of department software and related systems.
  • Train team members on County and proprietary software and prepare user-friendly instructional materials.
  • Coordinate the setup and movement of computer equipment and ensure proper system configuration.

Required Minimum Qualifications

At the time of application, applicants must:

  1. a. Possess a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Public Administration, Criminal Justice, or a related field.

    b. Have had at least one (1) year of full-time work experience in one or more of the following areas: creating and maintaining databases, systems analysis, training users on systems, systems testing, systems implementation, or systems software upgrades;

    OR

  2. a. Possess an Associate’s Degree or equivalent education from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Public Administration, Criminal Justice, or a related field.

    b. Have had at least three (3) years of full-time work experience in one or more of the following areas: creating and maintaining databases, systems analysis, training users on systems, systems testing, systems implementation, or systems software upgrades;

    OR

  3. a. Must be a high school graduate or have a certificate of successful completion of the General Education Development (GED) test.

    b. Have had at least five (5) years of full-time work experience in one or more of the following areas: creating and maintaining databases, systems analysis, training users on systems, systems testing, systems implementation, or systems software upgrades.

  4. Possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s or chauffeur’s license.

Pay Range

USD $60,990.00 - USD $81,714.00 /Yr.
