General Summary

Are you a compassionate leader with a passion for people and a head for data? In this role, you’ll oversee the daily operations of social care staff, guiding the team to deliver high-quality, client-centered services. This position blends hands-on supervision with strategic program management, ensuring both people and processes thrive.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and support social care staff through direct supervision, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Oversee program performance by analyzing data, identifying trends, and driving continuous quality improvement.
  • Coordinate services across divisions within the Health and Human Services Department and build collaborative partnerships with community agencies and institutions.
  • Play an active role in shaping the future of the program by evaluating and recommending policies, procedures, and directives that enhance service delivery and align with organizational goals.
  • Champion a client-centered mindset while utilizing a data-informed leadership approach.
  • Use countywide and department-specific software to manage assignments, track outcomes, and support decision-making.

Required Minimum Qualifications

What you’ll need:

 

1. a. Possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Public Health, Nursing, Nutrition, Health Education, Public Administration or a closely related field of study.

 

b. Have had at least five (5) years of full-time public health experience which involved program evaluation, project management and/or functional supervision of a public health program; OR

 

2. a. Possess an Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Public Health, Nursing, Nutrition, Health Education, Public Administration, or a closely related field of study.

 

b. Have had at least three (3) years of full-time public health experience which involved program evaluation, project management and/or functional supervision of a public health program.

Special Requirements

Must submit to immunizations as requested by the Department of Health & Human Services and periodic tuberculin skin tests or chest X-rays at County expense.

Pay Range

USD $86,818.00 - USD $114,981.00 /Yr.
