Are you ready to utilize your technical skills in a role that directly supports public safety?
Join a team that keeps Oakland County’s critical communication systems running smoothly, helping first responders stay connected when it matters most.

What You'll Do: 

• Perform skilled preventive maintenance and repairs on the County’s advanced digital communications systems, including the 700/800 MHz Motorola P25 simulcast subsystem of the Michigan Public Safety Communications System (MPSCS) and the 420 MHz MotoTrbo radio communications network.

• Support and maintain pager and fire hall alerting systems used by public safety professionals across the County.

• Attend specialized training sessions to deepen your expertise in digital radio system repair, maintenance, and emerging technologies.

• Stay current on system software used by the unit and assess opportunities for upgrades or enhancements.
