General Summary

Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where organization and accuracy are key to keeping things moving? As a District Court Clerk, you’ll be at the heart of courthouse operations, supporting judges, attorneys, law enforcement, and the public. From preparing notices and processing payments to coordinating schedules and/or assisting with jury services, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring that court proceedings run efficiently and fairly. This position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys clerical work with purpose and variety.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare and process hearing notices, probation appointments, and related court documents.
  • Coordinate scheduling among judges, attorneys, prosecutors, and law enforcement personnel.
  • Receive and record fines, fees, bonds, and other payments using court systems and cash registers.
  • Support jury services by preparing summons, processing attendance, and issuing pay vouchers.

Required Minimum Qualifications

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

  1. High school graduate or have a certificate of successful completion of the General Education Development Test.
  2. Have at least three (3) years full-time experience in a court system or comparable qualifications that meet the Court Administrator's approval.
