We’re looking for a passionate leader to oversee a specialized program and guide a team that’s committed to helping others. In this role, you’ll mentor and support program staff, make sure services are delivered effectively, and help shape program policies and processes that truly make a difference.

What You'll Do: 

 

Lead and innovate: Plan, direct, coordinate, and evaluate impactful programs that serve the community.

Drive results with data: Collect and analyze program data to determine needs, improve scheduling, and ensure resources are allocated effectively.

Measure success: Conduct in-depth qualitative and quantitative evaluations to assess program effectiveness, efficiency, and overall impact.

Collaborate for impact: Partner with other divisions, units, and community organizations to create a seamless network of services.

Shape the future: Make thoughtful recommendations to leadership on policies, procedures, and directives that enhance service delivery.

Required Minimum Qualifications

What You'll Need:

 

1. Possess a Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Public Health, Public Administration, Business Administration, Behavioral Sciences, or a closely related field of study, AND have had at least two (2) years of full-time experience in one of the following areas: management/administration, health education, nursing, nutrition, communicable diseases or environmental health; OR

 

2. Possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Public Health, Public Administration, Business Administration, Behavioral Sciences, or a closely related field of study, AND have had at least three (3) years of full-time professional experience in one of the following areas: management/administration, health education, nursing, nutrition, communicable diseases or environmental health.

 

NOTE: Applicants possessing transcripts from a college or university outside of the United States will be required to provide documentation of degree equivalency from a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (http://naces.org/members.html). The degree evaluation will be required for application processing.

 

 

Special Requirements

1. Must maintain a valid United States motor vehicle operator's or chauffeur’s license.

 

2. Must submit to immunizations as required and to periodic tuberculin skin tests or chest x-ray at the County expense.

 

Pay Range

USD $74,134.00 - USD $99,325.00 /Yr.
