General Summary

Do you enjoy variety in your day, working with people, and supporting teams that keep parks running smoothly? As an Office Support Clerk with Oakland County Parks and Recreation, you’ll be the first friendly face visitors see and the go-to support for departments across the organization. This role is a chance to contribute to the success of parks and programs that serve the entire community.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide front desk reception by unlocking doors, greeting and directing visitors, answering phones, and receiving packages.
  • Support multiple departments including HR, Planning, Marketing & Communications, IT, Nature Education & Outreach, and DEI.
  • Complete data entry tasks for procurement processes while coordinating with Fiscal Services and Parks staff.
  • Manage inventory of office supplies, uniforms, and promotional items, including tracking, distribution, and reordering as needed.

Required Minimum Qualifications

At the time of application, applicant's must:

  1. Be a high school graduate or have a certificate of successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) Test.
  2. Have had at least six (6) months of full-time clerical work experience.
