As a User Support Specialist II, you will serve as an application support liaison, a key connection between County departments, the Information Technology team, and external partners such as municipalities and software vendors. You'll play a vital role in supporting, maintaining, and improving the software applications that power essential County services.

1. a. Possess a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Public Administration, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
b. Have had at least two (2) year of full-time work experience in one or more of the following areas: creating and maintaining databases, systems analysis, training users on systems, systems testing, systems implementation, or systems software upgrades; OR
2. a. Possess an Associate’s Degree or equivalent education from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Public Administration, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
b. Have had at least four (4) years of full-time work experience in one or more of the following areas: creating and maintaining databases, systems analysis, training users on systems, systems testing, systems implementation, or systems software upgrades; OR
3. a. Must be a high school graduate or have a certificate of successful completion of the General Education Development (GED) test.
b. Have had at least six (6) years of full-time work experience in one or more of the following areas: creating and maintaining databases, systems analysis, training users on systems, systems testing, systems implementation, or systems software upgrades.
4. Possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s or chauffeur’s license.
