In this role, you’ll take the lead in configuring, maintaining, and supporting Oakland County’s Financial Management System to ensure our financial reporting remains accurate, efficient, and fully compliant with public sector standards. You'll serve as the go-to expert for the County’s financial modules supporting fund accounting, budget controls, grant management, and regulatory reporting.
From managing financial modules like General Ledger, Budgets, Grants, and A/P & A/R to maintaining key data structures (like our chart of accounts and cost centers), your work will directly support the County’s financial health and transparency. You’ll also develop standard and custom reports, support audits, oversee system updates, and champion ongoing process improvements.

1. Possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Public Administration or related field of study.
2. Have had five (5) years of full-time work experience in system administration within an ERP system including one or more of the following areas: reporting, maintenance, testing, inventory control, migrations, security, configurations, and implementation.
