Announcement Information

This is a part-time non-eligible position limited to 1,000 hours per year. 

 

This position will be required to work evenings and weekends through October 31, 2025.  A $2/hour shift premium is available for campground shifts worked August 23, 2025-October 31, 2025.    

General Summary

As a Park Worker at Addison Oaks, you’ll support daily operations across a wide range of park activities, from greeting guests to maintaining park grounds and facilities. Whether you're assisting campers, selling items in the pro shop, or keeping things clean and organized, your work ensures visitors have a safe, enjoyable, and memorable park experience. This is a hands-on, people-focused role perfect for someone who loves variety, nature, and public service.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Greet park guests, assist with check-ins, and provide information about amenities and activities.
  • Operate control stations, concessions, and the pro shop, handling sales, inventory, and customer service.
  • Maintain park facilities and grounds to ensure a clean, welcoming environment.
  • Support day-to-day park operations and fill in for other seasonal roles as needed to meet staffing demands.

Required Minimum Qualifications

At the time of application, applicants must:

  1. Be at least 16 years old and a high school graduate; OR have completed the State requirements for a G.E.D. certificate; OR be an emancipated minor; OR have passed their 18th birthday.

NOTE: When assigned to Golf Course Grill rooms or Beverage Cart, must have passed their 18th birthday, per the State of Michigan, due to the sale of alcoholic beverages.

  1. Possess a valid United States motor vehicle operator’s or chauffeur’s license. Out of country driver’s license holders will be required to obtain the appropriate valid State of Michigan driver’s license before the hire date.

  2. Pass the complete examination, including the employment medical, established for this classification.

  3. Successfully complete the six month probationary period.

Special Requirements

Must maintain a valid United States motor vehicle operator's or chauffeur’s license.
