As a Public Health Nurse II, you’ll be responsible for conducting health assessments, monitoring resident conditions, and providing timely interventions when health concerns arise. You’ll observe and document changes in physical or emotional health, manage medication reactions, and assist with physical examinations all while fostering trust and stability for youth in care.
This role involves responding to medical needs across campus buildings, often in urgent situations, so flexibility, critical thinking, and calm decision-making are key. You’ll also collaborate with other professionals to support holistic, trauma-informed care for each resident.

1. Submit to immunizations as required by the Health Division and to tuberculin skin tests or chest X-rays at County expense.
