This is a part-time non-eligible position limited to 1,000 hours per year.
Pro shop duties include waiting on customers, the sale, inventory, and notification for purchases of articles, and helping to maintain the pro shop in a neat and orderly manner. Processes transactions in person and over the phone on a point-of-sale computer system including renting golf carts, lockers and other equipment, scheduling tee times in person and on the phone, and announcing tee time launches. Provides customer service to golf course guests such as assisting with the sale of pro-shop merchandise. Cleans, stages golf carts for customer use and returns them to the cart barn after use. May assist on the golf course as a starter/ranger to manage the flow of traffic and ensure that players follow the rules and etiquette of the course. May also provide customer service to players with any issues they may have while on the course.
Golf Course groundskeeping staff perform golf course mowing using power equipment, bunker maintenance, trash removal, tree maintenance including planting, pruning and line trimming, and custodial services in restrooms and public areas. May assist with cart staging and cleaning when lower-level staff are not available. May assist with repair and installation of irrigation equipment on golf courses or start up and shut down of golf course irrigation systems on a yearly basis.
