The Groundskeeper Specialist is responsible for repairing/replacing concrete sidewalks, curbs, steps, loading docks and parking areas as well as repairing concrete catch basins and structures. They will also work on Concrete Segmental Retaining Walls and Interlocking Concrete Paver projects.
The Specialist will act as Crew Leader over other Groundskeepers and are responsible for operating a safe and efficient jobsite. They are responsible for all operations from job set-up through final clean-up. Experience with requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act, ADA, as it pertains to sidewalks and parking lots is essential. On-going safety and operations training is offered and encouraged. During the Snow and Ice Management season, they are on-call and will be assigned duties by the Supervisor. Safety Boot allowance provided along with uniforms and all necessary PPE.

Required Minimum Requirements:
1. Be at least 18 years old.
2. Have had at least three (3) years of full-time work experience in concrete forming,
pouring, and finishing.
3. Must possess a Flatwork Finisher Certification from the Michigan Concrete Association.
4. Possess a valid Commercial Driver's license Group “A” with no Air Brake restriction.
NOTE: Applicants without the required certification and/or CDL at the time of application must obtain it by the end of the six month probationary period, at the employer’s
expense.
1. Must maintain the following certifications from the Michigan Concrete Association –
Concrete Flatwork Finisher.
2. Must maintain a valid Possess a valid Commercial Driver's license Group "A" designation with no air brakes restriction.
