General Summary

Aligns technology vision with business strategy by integrating company processes with the appropriate technologies. Responsible for all aspects of developing and implementing technological initiatives within the organization. Maintains existing enterprise systems architecture, while providing direction in all technology-related issues in support of information operations and core company values. Participates in developing and tracking the annual operating and capital budgets for purchasing, staffing, and operations. Collaborates with departments to develop and maintain a technology plan that supports organizational needs. Identifies opportunities for incorporating AI and machine learning technologies to enhance operational efficiency. Approves, prioritizes, and controls projects and the project portfolio as they relate to the selection, acquisition, development, and installation of major information systems. Utilizes current countywide and/or department specific software to complete assignments.

Required Minimum Qualifications

At the time of application, applicants must:

 

1. a. Possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field;
 
b. Have at least eight (8) years of full-time work experience in information technology including three (3) years of supervisory work experience in any of the following
• Systems analysis and design
• Application installation and configuration or programming
• Project Management in an information technology system development and implementation; OR
 
2. a. Possess an associate’s degree or equivalent education from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field;
 
b. Have at least ten (10) years of full-time work experience and five (5) years supervisory experience as specified in 1B above; OR
 
3. a. Be a high school graduate or have a certificate of successful completion of the General Education Development Test (GED);
 
b. Have had at least twelve (12) years of full-time work experience, and seven (7) years supervisory experience as specified in 1B above

Pay Range

USD $186,240.00 - USD $249,525.00 /Yr.
