General Summary

Supports the office of the Water Resources Commissioner (WRC) with policy initiatives and programs related to the work of the office. Develops, implements, and maintains a grant funding plan. Provides grant administration support, including implementation, budget, tracking, and reporting requirements. Coordinates and collaborates with WRC and other Oakland County departments and establishes strong partnerships with other municipalities and community organizations. Assists the WRC legal division in the development of and implementation of internal departmental policies and procedures, as well as research and analysis of external local, state, and federal government policies and procedures. Develops training related to grant funding. Utilizes current countywide and/or department specific software to complete assignments.

Required Minimum Qualifications

1. Possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a preferred major in business administration, public administration, accounting, marketing communications, or related field.


2. Have at least two (2) years of professional work experience in the development and/or administration of grant programs, the preparation of grant applications, financial analysis, business administration or digital marketing or a closely related area.

Pay Range

USD $73,702.00 - USD $98,746.00 /Yr.
