Oversees a dedicated team managing three shifts that is responsible for Incident Management, ensuring continuous monitoring and support of Oakland County’s infrastructure. Analyzes current computer operational procedures and researches, recommends, and implements continuous improvement processes. Manages incident responses including dispatching and triaging incidents as needed, which may include after-hours, weekends, and holidays. Assesses training needs of staff and arranges for or provides appropriate instruction. Acts as a liaison with mainframe hosting vendors and customers, IT staff, and assisting in the resolution of issues related to mainframe job processing and printing. Provides leadership and guidance to incident management team to minimize system outages and improve recovery time. Tracks and reports on metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as requested by management. Performs transformational leadership skills, driving the continuous evolution of the Operations Center. Utilizes current county-wide and/or department specific software to complete assignments.
