General Summary

Works with the Oakland County Health Division (OCHD) to promote public health initiatives, ensuring equitable access to services within the County. Engages with diverse populations, addresses health inequities, and fosters strong relationships between OCHD and community stakeholders. Strives to connect communities to OCHD resources and contribute to the overall well-being of Oakland County communities. Utilizes current countywide and/or department specific software to complete assignments.

Required Minimum Qualifications

At the time of application, applicants must:

 

1. Be a high school graduate OR have a certificate of successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) Test.


2. Have at least one (1) year of experience with community outreach/field work in a health care setting or supporting community outreach.

Special Requirements

1. Employees of this classification must submit to immunizations as required by the Health Division and submit to a tuberculin skin test or chest x-ray, at County expense, once a year.

Pay Range

USD $44,185.00 - USD $59,200.00 /Yr.
